What is the minimum age you can consume alcohol on a cruise ship sailing in Europe?

Are all lines different with this policy, or is there a common rule? I’ll be 18 when I plan to cruise next year in the Mediteranean. Also, if this makes a difference, I’ll be traveling with my grandmother and not may parents. Thanks.

Some cruise ships let you drink alcohol at 18 years old with a parent’s permission. But that would be beer and wine only. So, bottom line is a parent has to approve and not all ships allow this. You would have to read the rules page for your cruise. This is ONLY true of European cruises.

Going on a perpetual retirement cruise sounds pretty inviting, but a bit too excellent to be true should you ask me.

If you are a single senior, the average value for room rental at an independent living senior’s residence that includes your every day meals and laundry will commence at around $5000 per month.

Unless you are cruising with another senior sharing a cabin, it could be pretty challenging to cruise full time for below this amount.
